Peak Baffles are vertical triangular shaped screens, known as ‘baffles’ or Apex screens. They are set up between the gutters to reduce the drastic temperature fluctuations. These baffles create partitions above the curtain, dividing the greenhouse attic into smaller segments. Although the cooling effect persists in the autumn, the air circulation within the greenhouse now happens in multiple smaller sections. As a result, the air travels a shorter distance above the screen, leading to less cooling before it descends. This approach diminishes the temperature contrast throughout the greenhouse, fostering a more uniform climate for your crops to thrive.
